Plus! App
A NTUC lifestyle rewards program where you can enjoy deals, digital stamp cards with Plus! Partners and check your LinkPoints wherever you go.
Problem:
Even though Singaporean view Plus! as trustworthy, the brand is boring and traditional
There is no digital touchpoint to engage with Plus! member except through the physical cards and website
Member can only track and manage LinkPoints through FairPrice’s checkout counter
Becoming Plus! Member
One specific issue we faced is customers having difficulty in becoming a Plus! member and logging in to check LinkPoints:
Customers were not keen to fill up the 21 questions in order to register
Users profile were not fully captured and accurate in our data.
NRIC was the only unique identifier
Exploring and sketching out different case scenarios
Objective: Get customers to register and log in seamlessly and fast to track and manage LinkPoints
Together with another designer, we identify and discuss with the core team to reduce the number of question asked in the registration. Next, we map out all the different case scenarios and potential solutions before proposing it to the core team. We also explored ideas on making the login and registration friendly and fun.
Product iteration after workshop and user testing
Together with a researcher, we created an interactive prototype to conduct user interviews and gain feedback from them. With these feedbacks, we refined it and tested it again to minimise potential risk. I also conducted a workshop among the core team and stakeholders to go through different scenarios.
